Breakfast cafe, pub, barge trips, fine dining and gastropub restaurants, grocery store, Greenway walking trails and bike rental, and the train station is a four minute walk. Its also a great base for exploring Ireland's Ancient East or day tripping to Dublin.

The Loft at the Grand Canal Stores was converted to an apartment in 2021. Everything is finishes to a very high spec and the accommodation consists of a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a living/dining room with a double sofa-bed, a kitchenette with full cooking facilities and a tea/coffee station.
